Slow and Mindful Curation

Journeys through The Red Thread culminates in a shared group Exhibition at Te Auaha, Dixon Street, Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington, Mahuru | September 1st to 10th, 2025. Featuring the slow curation of work from ten interdisciplinary female artists based across Aotearoa New Zealand, each artist invites you to join with them to explore narratives and perspectives on matrilineal and ancestral connections.

As artists gathering together for the first time, we welcome you and your stories to the space and join in art workshops, activities and conversations.
